About Dr. Ajello

Dr. Ajello received his MD degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and went on to complete his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut. After 5 years practicing Emergency Medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, partly to fulfill a commitment to the National Health Service, he then completed a Pulmonary Medicine fellowship in the Temple University/Albert Einstein Medical Center program in Philadelphia. He then joined a private Pulmonary practice, also in Philadelphia. However, since 1992 he has practiced pulmonary and sleep medicine almost exclusively in Greenfield, though with occasional office practice in Northampton, Palmer and Ware. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Ajello’s areas of professional interest include asthma, COPD and sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea.  His personal interests include gardening, beekeeping, cooking, running, bicycling and hiking (with his dog).
